Pharmacy Assistant Diploma

Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program focuses on the career knowledge and skills that you’ll need to thrive in the pharmacy and pharmaceutical industry. Courses include Health & Ethics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy Calculations, Compounding, Community & Institutional Pharmacies Procedures, and much more. We also focus on pharmacy software and computer skills, workplace, and team skills.

At the end of your theory, you will participate in a field-related practicum in various community pharmacies where you can put your training into practice and graduate with experience, skills, and confidence.

Program Description

1. A major part of the Pharmacy Assistant Diploma program at PTI is gaining an understanding of what goes into the medications we use every day.
2. In the course of a day, pharmacy assistants handle many different tasks, including clerical work, retail sales, filling prescription orders, and updating drug and doctor information in pharmacy computer systems.
3. As part of the program, you will receive hands-on training in compounding, pharmaceutical calculations, and the fundamentals of pharmacology.
