CPR/First Aid/BLS/ACLS Certificate

Our CPR/AED Health Care Provider (HCP) courses are available in certification and recertification options providing the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children and babies. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training is also included.

As a CPR training candidate, you will become part of the chain of survival. Candidates will learn the most up to date techniques. We use the latest equipment and have the highest equipment to candidate ratio to make sure you learn as efficiently as possible. We have dedicated instructors that train in a variety of different methods to make the course fun, entertaining, practical and informative.

Program Description

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that combines chest compressions, often with artificial ventilation, in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore blood circulation in the event of cardiac arrest. CPR alone is unlikely to restart the heart. The objective is to delay tissue death until administration of an electrical shock to the subjects’ heart termed defibrillation. This is accomplished with the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
  • According to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, an estimated 40,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of a hospital setting in Canada each year, with between 80 and 85 per cent of these cases happening in the home and the rest in a public setting. This makes it one of the most likely medical emergencies that you will come across. The chance of surviving a cardiac arrest more than doubles when early CPR and use of AED are administered.
  • In this 8-hour AED, CPR and Emergency First Aid training, you will receive an overview of First Aid and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills.
  • What makes this course stand out from the competition content on injury prevention, CPR and AED as well as the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. It also meets OH&S regulations for Basic First Aid.
  • Course Fee: $ 115.00 for One Day. $ 155.00 for two Days. $90.00 for recertification.
